Yossi Melamed RA AIA

Born and raised in Israel, Yossi came to the United States to fulfill his dream of becoming an architect and contributing to the New York skyline. From designing 200,000 Sq.Ft ground-up, state-of-the-art, mixed-used buildings, to converting a former Church into a boutique apartment complex while preserving the integrity of the façade, he has become the go-to for New York and New Jersey real estate developers. His incredible vision and attention to context, detail, and adaptive reuse, sets him apart. As an avid surfer, he understands the delicate balance of the unpredictable environment and knows how to navigate between the multiple constraints of a building project with respect and wisdom.

Tatiana Tatarintseva, RA

Tatiana joined Melamed Architect P.C. in 2016. She is a registered architect in the state of New York and  obtained both her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Architecture degrees from Columbia University in the City of New York.  Combing both the creativity of a designer and the pragmatism of an architect, she has been successfully managing projects of various scales and scopes while in the firm. Being very well versed in multiple artistic disciplines  she brings open mind and skill into the projects she is working on.  Apart from being an architect Tatiana is a writer, a poet and an artist. Together with Christoph a. Kumpusch she wrote the Russian version of his book Detail Kultur. If Buildings Had DNA: Case Studies of Mutations. The book is currently is in post-production and is ready to be published. She believes that architecture is not only a necessity of a shelter but also a human need for beauty and that New York City is the best place to prove it true.

Martin Badie, LEED Green Associate

Martin joined Melamed Architect in 2022. He holds his Architecture Degree from la Plata University, Argentina. For more than ten years he worked as Professor Assistant and as a researcher at the School of Architecture in La Plata. The mix of his initial professional practice in South America combined with eighteen years working in the metropolitan area of New York City provided him with strong capabilities when designing and making decisions in the construction field. His concern about Environment and Climate Change reinforced his commitment as an architect and as a human being to achieve his LEED accreditation and to incorporate sustainability concepts in architectural projects.
